A Drawing to the Moon!

On a clear and quiet night, the window was open, and the moonlight gently lit Mimi and Aoun’s room.

They sat at their desk, drawing the sky, stars, and moon on a big white paper.

“I wish I could go to the Moon one day,” said Mimi, coloring the moon.

“And maybe meet a space creature there!” added Aoun excitedly.

Suddenly, the paper glowed with bright light!

“Mimi, look!” shouted Aoun.

The light pulled them into the drawing, like a magic portal.

They opened their eyes… and found themselves standing on the Moon!

They were wearing astronaut suits, and the ground was soft and gray beneath their feet.

“Where did these suits come from?” asked Aoun.

A gentle voice answered,
“They protect you—there is no air on the Moon!”

They turned to see Zeenot, a silver-skinned alien with four arms and glowing eyes.

“Welcome! I am Zeenot, the Guide of Space Knowledge!”

“Why does the moon shine at night?” asked Mimi.

“It reflects the light of the sun,” Zeenot replied.

“Can we live here?” asked Aoun.

“No,” said Zeenot. “There is no air or water, but scientists dream of building space stations someday.”

“Has anyone ever been here?” Mimi asked.

“Yes,” said Zeenot. “The first human to walk on the Moon was Neil Armstrong in 1969.”

“I’ll become an astronaut and build a city here!” Aoun cheered.

“And I’ll draw the path to reach it!” smiled Mimi.

“It’s time to go,” said Zeenot. “Remember: science is light, and imagination builds the future.”

In a flash, the light returned from the paper and gently carried them home.

They woke up in their room. The drawing was still there…
And on it—a tiny shadow of an astronaut!

“Was it a dream?” whispered Mimi.

“But we learned so much!” said Aoun.
“And tomorrow… we’ll draw another planet!”
